Your Fire Department needs men and women (just like Marley’s Dad) who want to take part in a challenging and gratifying community service.
Our activities embrace a range of emergencies from fire alarms to marine search and rescue to emergency medical service—and you can be part of our team as a firefighter or an emergency medical technician. And you are never too young or too old to join (well, you do have to be at least 18!); our membership includes both full time and part time residents.
The satisfaction of responding to community emergencies with a fully trained and experienced crew—and everyone is working together—is immeasurable. And if you’ve attended any of our events, like The Pig Roast or Pancake Breakfast—you know that we have a lot of fun as well!
Joining the Department can be a fulfilling experience—and it is an important decision. So please contact Chief William Wysocki who will answer all of your questions!
